( لم اعبر جيداً لا اريد شيءاً ما اريده هو ان تعرف شعوري دعني اكلمك مثل داود. ليس التخيل سيئا لإيصال فكرتي انت بالنسبة لي هكذا راكب على فرس ومن شدة التعب غفوت والفرس يسير في نهر ليس بعميق. يسير النهر خلاف حركة الفرس يجر الفرس خلفه بدل العربة، قارباًانا جالسة فيه. مع ثلاث حقائب فيها كل حياتي. اجتثثتُ من عائلتي والامل الوحيد والحاجة الوحيدة هما البقاء معك ولكنك غفوت ولم تلتفت لتلقي نظرة علي وتسأل عني. وأنا اخجل ان اناديكَ. لا اريد ازعاجك. اقول هو تعِب، بالتأكيد انك سعيد بحركة الفرس جلست انتظر وأجر خلف الفرس بهدوء )
يكتب كربلايي لو خلافاً للتيار الروائي المعاصر في ايران وهو في حالة بحث دائما لصناعة نصه وهذا ما يجعله مغايرا واذا ركزنا على جملة " اداء دين للأدب الروسي"، سنجد الجنون الذي تعمده الكاتب في الشخصيات لتتشابه لحد كبير في الصياغة مع الجنون الذي تعمده دوستفيسكي مع شخصياته خاصة في رواية "الابله".
