حينما يعلو المحتلَ على ديارِ الأمةِ يستأجرُ فرقةً منْ الخونةِ كي تنخر تاريخها كدودِ الأرض فوق الرمةِ البالية..
يقول علماءُ اللغة بأنَّ الأمرَ لو سادَ جازَ تغليبَه وعليه فلم تكنْ الكتابةُ عملًا شريفًا قطْ لأنَّ أطولَ الأقلامِ عمرًا لم تبرحْ قراطيسَ الخونةِ..
عتريسُ حاولَ أنْ يستأجرَ الأقلامَ كي يتمجدْ؛ والراوي هو صاحبُ القلمِ الوحيدِ الذي استعصمَ كما فعلَ أبوه منْ قبل، عتريسُ أشعلَ المكتبةَ لأنهُ أرادَ أنْ يضيعَ الحقُ تحتَ الرمادِ المحترقِ والراوي أقسمَ لن يضيعَ حقٌ ما دامَ قلمٌ.. (يعني قلمًا حُرًا).
الراوي حليفُ النورِ وعتريسُ هو الظُلمةُ.. فلا تقلْ بأنَّ الظلمةَ لو حلتْ لا انقشاعَ لها، لأنَّ النورَ دومًا أظهرُ، قُلْ سينتصرُ صاحبُ النفسِ الأطولِ، والحقُ -لاريبَ- أطولُ نفسًا..
