تمثل مرحلة الرضاعة لكل أم حامل المرحلة الأهم، وتكون بمثابة اختبار وتحد لها خصوصا السنة الأولى للطفل، فنجد كل أب وأم يرزقان بطفل بحاجة إلى تقدير احتياجاته. وهناك استفسارات كثيرة يكونان بحاجة لمعرفتها ليدركا كافة التفاصيل عن مولودهما.
ومن أهم الأمور اللازمة للطفل الرضيع لإكسابه مناعة جسمه ومده بالإشباع النفسي وليس الجسماني فقط، هي ( الرضاعة الطبيعية )، وتعد فترة الرضاعة، وهي تمثل مدة السنة الأولى من عمر الطفل مؤثرا رئيسيا على نفسيته طول حياته، فهي تعطيه الغذاء المتوازن الذي يحتاجه جسمه كما أن الطفل يحتاج في هذه المرحلة إلى الحب والطمأنينة والحنان والرعاية والتدليل.
نجد كثيرا من التساؤلات لدى كل أم وخصوصا لأمهات ( سنة أولى طفل )، حيث يواجهن كثيرا من الصعوبات أثناء الرضاعة.. ومن أبرزها:
