الفراغ بالنسبة للكاتب ليس إلا تجاعيد تضم بين ثنياتها نثار الأفكار المتساقطة من الذاكرة، التي تشبه النوى الصغيرة اللذيذة التي تختفي داخل القشرة الصلبة الصماء، التي توحي بالفراغ، وفقط الفراغ. النصوص التي استنبتها الكاتب في تجاعيد فراغه تشبه أزهار المنثور الربيعية متعددة الألوان، التي تبشّر دائما بحقول الربيع. وعندما يفرد الكاتب تجاعيد فراغه فإنه لا بدّ يرينا حقله الإبداعي، وهو الرواية.
إنها ذات لغة الكاتب السردية في رواياته، وكأنه هنا يجري تمرينات الكتابة ما بين شوطين في إنتاج العمل الروائي، وكأنما يودُّ الكاتب التأكيد لقارئه أنه كاتب قادر أن يمزج بين جزالة الشعر ورحابة السرد الروائي. وهذه نماذج أخرى من توقيعاته:
كحجرٍ
في بيتٍ مهجور
تسكنُ المرأةُ ذكرياتها

لم يبقَ مني
ما يكفي لشمعة
أو يقيكم لسعةَ الكتابة

وحيدٌ
هذا الليل
مثل غريب تكوّمَ في النسيان

أتخبّطُ فيّ
مثل سمكة تقاومُ بعبث
وجعَ الصنارة.
