مجموعة من الشخصيات النسوية تروي حكاياتها، فتكتبها القاصة على ورقها الشفاف، لترينا ما خفي من الحكاية، ولتقول لشخصياتها: لا تخفين حكاياتكن، فالحياة لا تحتمل الاختباء وراء حجب.
تتمحور موضوعات القصص حول ثلاثية: المدينة، والفصول، والجسد، التي تصنع الذاكرة، وتختلق الواقع، وتشكِّل الروح لتصير الحكاية كاملة، الثلاثية التي لا يمكن إقصاء أي من مكوناتها عن وجودنا واستمرارنا، كما تقول الكاتبة.
الحكايات التي تقدمها الكاتبة ليست ثرثرة امرأة، بل هي قصص فنية مكتملة العناصر، هي حكايات تستهدف القارئ المتغيّر بفعل الزمن والواقع، واختلاف الحاجات. تحاول الكاتبة الاقتراب من ذلك القارئ وردم الفجوة ما بينها وبينه، وهي تقدم ما يحتاجه القارئ من مشاعر مفقودة لإثارة الإحساس بالحب والحياة، "ضمن معالجة واقعية بعيدة عن مفهوم المِسطرة، ومتجردة من الحواف الخشنة"
تتكون المجموعة من تسعة عشر نصا، هي: "لوحة ناقصة"، و"الشريرة"، و"الغداء"، و"أحمر الشفاه"، و"الخيانة"، و"الرغبة"، و"الشارع"، و"الصراخ"، و"الكابوس"، و"النوافذ المفتوحة"، و"تفاصيل الصّباح"، و"المكان"، و"الحقيبة"، و"حالة باردة"، و"حنكة الضباب"، و"فرصة أخيرة"، و"قصُّ المعدة"، و"كانون يا حبيبتي يشبهنا"، و"الحديقة".
إنها قصص رومانسية جميلة، أحداثها قائمة على الصدفة، لكنها تكشف طبيعة النفس البشرية وتحللها. اللغة شاعرية، مشبعة بالصور، والوصف يقدم صورة واضحة بكل تفاصيلها، تحس بها وكأنها تتنفس. الكاتبة في المجموعة تحلل وتعلق أحيانا على الأحداث، لكن لا يبدو خارجا عن سياق السرد، بل معززاً له.
الكاتبة تكتب الفصول جميعها، فكل قصة تدور أحداثها في فصل وشهر معينين. القصص تتمحور معظمها حول المرأة وعلاقتها بالرجل. الصراع بين الحب والحرية، بين الارتباط الزوجي والانفصال، بين قدسية الزواج وقدسية الحرية، والكرامة الشخصية، تجيد الكاتبة الدخول في عالم المرأة وفي حالاتها المتعددة، محلِّلة حالتها على أساس علمي واقعي، وبأسلوب أدبي راق.
