همستْ لي المرأة خشنةُ الصّوت، المصابة بمتلازمة صنع الجدائل، والّتي ترافقني دوماً في منزلي، مشّطتْ لي شعري في الحمام، ابتسمتْ ودخلتْ معي غرفة نومي، غابت قليلاً ثم عادت مع ملاءة صوفية كبيرة، خلعتْ عنّي منشفتي، وألقتْ الملاءة عليّ، راحت تحكي عنه، عن الرّجل الذي سيجدل شعري المبتلّ، وسيفعل أشياء أخرى كثيرة، همستْ بالتّـفاصيل الحميمة كلّها وهي تصنع جدائل قصيرة عديدة من الشّراشيب الملوّنة على أطراف الملاءة، ثمّ احتضنت بحنان عُريي الّذي ارتعش بعنفٍ تحت ملاءتي وهي تبكي.

همستْ لي المرأة الّتي لها رائحة الأمّهات، المرأة المصابة بمتلازمة صنع الجدائل، والّتي تسكن معي في منزلي، ابتسمتْ وتمدّدتْ خلفي في سريري، جدلتْ شعري جديلةً واحدة سوداء طويلة، وروت لي حكاية (ريبانزيل) حتّى غرقتُ في النّوم، روتها وهي تبكي.
