لم أتمكّن مِن نفضِ قلبي على الشّرفة قُبيل الشّتاء، ولا من خزن مُتعلّقات الصّيف خاصّته في الرّفوف العُلوية مِن الذّاكِرة، والآن والشّتاء بالبابِ يتفقّدُ أشياءه للموسم، عليّ أن أؤدّي ما أستطيعُ من فرائض الرّوح والعُمر، وأن أنتظر شتلة الزعتر حتّى تُطل، وأن أمسح خشب السّرير بزيتِ الصّنوبر، وأدسّ بعض الليمون المُجففّ في الوسائد؛ الأحلامُ قد تأتي فجأة ورأسي فارغة.
عليّ أيضا أن أعدّ قنديلي وشمعي، وقصاصات لربطِ الشّجيرات الطّريّة إلى أعواد القصب، وبرميلاً تحت المزراب، وغطائين خفيفين في غرفة الجُلوس، وبساط الصّوف المُلوّن في المطبخ، وكوبين جديدين ولفحتي البَيضاء، ونوما جميلاً.
لا أحبّ المظلات، ولا الدّوام الشّتويّ، ولا مدفأة الغاز، ولا إغلاق السّتائر في نهارات الشّتاء، ولا التلفاز حتى، وأشتهي في السّر قلب الجوزة الكبيرة على المنعطف، والمشي طويلا في الطّريق الطّينيّ إلى المخبز.

بقلبيّ عُصفورين في طاقة دافئة
بإنصات الكون، وبهدوء البُيوت المضطربة، وباستسلامِ جوربين صغيرين منسيين للمطر
باختباءِ القطط تحت الدرج "بصبر الحصانِ المُعدّ للمُنحدرات"، نعيش هذي الحياة بحلوها الذي قلّما تذوقناه، بمرّها الذي اعتدناه، سيأتي صيفُ السّنة القادمة ناشفا، وعلينا ملء بئر تموز كما فعلنا ذلك دوما.
