يشار الى أن الكاتبة حصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في اللغات الحديثة من الجامعة الأردنية وعملت فيها مساعدة بحث وتدريس ثم أكملت دراساتها العليا وحصلت على درجة الماجستير في العلاقات الدولية والدراسات الدبلوماسية ثم على درجة الدكتوراة في العلوم السياسية من الجامعة ذاتها. عملت في عدد من السفارات في الأردن كالسفارة النمساوية وسفارة جمهورية أفغانستان والسفارة الأمريكية ، وحالياً تعمل باحثة في المجال الإنساني في قضايا اللاجئين و منكوبي الحروب و الأسرى السياسيين ضمن إطار المنظمات الدولية غير الربحية. لديها عدد من الأبحاث المنشورة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية إضافة الى كتاب باللغة الإنجليزية بعنوان "العولمة الاقتصادية و تأثيرها على دول العالم الثالث" تم نشره في ألمانيا عام ٢٠١٥.
