يتسائل الكثيرون، لماذا دوستويفسكي تحديدًا؟ ما سر كل هذه العبقرية الأدبية النادرة؟ الأمر ليس مجرد كاتب موهوب ولغة بديعة وتمكن من الغوص في تفاصيل النفس البشرية؟ الأمر أبعد من هذا بكثير.
في 23 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول عام 1849 وفي سان بطرسبرغ حُكم على الشاب "دوستويفسكي" ومجموعة من المفكرين بالإعدام رميًا بالرصاص. وقبل تنفيذ الحكم الذي انتظره دوستويفسكي لأربعة أشهر، وعلى منصة تنفيذ حكم الإعدام، صدر مرسوم من القيصر بالعفو عن المجموعة واستبدال عقوبة الإعدام بالأشغال الشاقة في جليد سيبيريا.
لك أن تتخيل أن كاتبًا بحجم وموهبة ديستويفسكي كان يقف على منصة الإعدام منتظرًا الرصاصة التي ستذهب بحياته، واجه الموت ونظر في عينيه، بل انتظره طويلاً لأربعة أشهر تلاها بأربعة أعوام من الخدمة الشاقة في جليد سيبيريا. ومن رحم المعاناة واليأس والترقب وفقدان الأمل في الحياة، وُلدت عبقرية فذة غير مسبوقة لكاتب كان في الأصل شديد البراعة. فكان الناتج الأخير موهبة أصيلة لم يشهد لها التاريخ مثيلًا. كان الناتج فيودور ميخايلوفيتش دوستويفسكي ورواياته العظيمة.
وفي هذه الرواية البديعة
قرر ديستويفسكي كتابة الرواية الرومانسية، ليلة رقيقة حالمة نقضيها مع بطلي هذه الحكاية، حيث يقرر البطل عدم الإفصاح لحبيبته عن مشاعره العميقة تجاهها خوفًا من فقده لصداقتها، بينما تعيش البطلة حالة من الارتباك والتردد وهي تحاول أن تتبين مشاعرها تجاهه دون إفصاح أو مواربة. وفي نفس الوقت يجول في المدينة جوارهما حبيبها الأول الذي كانت تنتظره هي من البداية.
ليلة عذبة من المشاعر الفياضة يسردها دوستويفسكي ببراعته المعهودة ونهاية عظيمة لا تليق إلا بأعمال هذا العبقري الأصيل نقدمها لكم في ترجمة مُحكمة عن النص الروسي الأصلي الذي نشر للمرة الأولى عام 1848.
