لَقَدْ عَاشَ فِي أَحَدِ بِلَادِ الصِّينِ النَّائِيَةِ (الْبَعِيدَةِ) خَيَّاطٌ نَشِيطٌ اسْمُهُ «مُصْطَفَى». وَقَدْ عَاشَ «مُصْطَفَى الْخَيَّاطُ» فِي بَلَدِهِ فَقِيرًا، وَكَانَ يَعْمَلُ طُولَ يَوْمِهِ فِي دُكَّانِهِ، لِيَحْصُلَ عَلَى قُوتِهِ وَقُوتِ زَوْجِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ. وَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ — لِفَقْرِهِ الشَّدِيدِ — أَنْ يَدَّخِرَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْمَالِ، لِيَنْفَعَ بِهِ زَوْجَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ.وَلَمْ يُرْزَقْ «مُصْطَفَى الْخَيَّاطُ» مِنَ الْأَوْلَادِ غَيْرَ وَلَدٍ وَاحِدٍ سَمَّاهُ «عَلَاءَ الدِّينِ»؛ وَكَانَ يُحِبُّهُ حُبًّا شَدِيدًا. وَلَكِنَّ «مُصْطَفَى الْخَيَّاطَ» كَانَ — كَمَا قُلْتُ لَكُمْ — فَقِيرًا، فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يُعَلِّمَ وَلَدَهُ. وَكَانَ يَتْرُكُهُ يَقْضِي يَوْمَهُ كُلَّهُ فِي خَارِجِ الْبَيْتِ، وَيَلْعَبُ مَعَ أَشْبَاهِهِ مِنَ الْأَوْلَادِ الَّذِينَ أَلِفُوا الْبَطَالَةَ وَاللَّعِبَ؛ حَتَّى سَاءَ خُلُقُهُ، وَصَارَ — بَعْدَ قَلِيلٍ مِنَ الزَّمَنِ — أَسْوَأَ مِثَالٍ لِلْأَطْفَالِ. وَكَانَ «عَلَاءُ الدِّينِ» — عَلَى ذَكَائِهِ — شَدِيدَ الْعِنَادِ؛ فَقَدْ نَصَحَ لَهُ أَبُوهُ أَنْ يُقْلِعَ عَنْ مُعَاشَرَةِ الْأَشْرَارِ (يَتْرُكَ مُصَاحَبَتَهُمْ)، وَيَبْتَعِدَ عَنْ رُفَقَاءِ السُّوءِ. وَحَاوَلَ — جُهْدَهُ — أَنْ يُعَلِّمَهُ صِنَاعَةً تَنْفَعُهُ إِذَا كَبِرَ؛ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْ لَهُ نُصْحًا، وَضَاعَتْ جُهُودُ أَبِيهِ بِلَا فَائِدَةٍ. فَاضْطُرَّ أَبُوهُ إِلَى مُعَاقَبَتِهِ وَزَجْرِهِ (مَنْعِهِ وَنَهْيِهِ)، وَاتَّخَذَ مَعَهُ وَسَائِلَ الْعُنْفِ (الشِّدَّةِ) بَعْدَ أَنْ أَخْفَقَتْ — فِي إِصْلَاحِهِ — وَسَائِلُ اللِّينِ، وَلَكِنَّ «عَلَاءَ الدِّينِ» لَمْ يُبَالِ بِعِقَابِ أَبِيهِ، وَلَمْ يُؤَثِّرْ فِيهِ زَجْرُهُ وَشِدَّتُهُ. وَمَا زَالَ كَذَلِكُمْ حَتَّى يَئِسَ أَبُوهُ مِنْ إِصْلَاحِهِ.إقرأ الحكايات واستمتع بأجواء السحر والخيال مع الجزء الخامس من حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة..تقييم القراء يشجعني على الاستمرار،
