بالكاد لسنا الوحيدين عليها، ولسنا الوحيدين الأبطال؛
سدٌ منيع يحول بينها وبيننا "الوحوش الأسطورية". نعم هي، إنها حقيقة وواقع؛
مجرد وحوش، إما عملاقة وإما طائرة أو ذات قرن خرافي. وليس فى هذا تعجب بالمرة ولا شيء يُثير التحفز والانتباه. وما العجب فى هذا إن كان هذا طبيعيا ومتوقعا على هذه البقعة من الأرض "إسكندنافيا" . أرض الشمال ــ بل شمال الشمال. هذه البقعة التي لم يكن يُعرف لها وجود حتى فى مُخيلاتنا، أبت الآن إلا أن تتحدث عن نفسها وتُعلن عن أبطالها "الفايكينج النورمان" .
هي "إسكندنافا" كما يُسمونها أو كما يطلقون عليها. والعجب الحقيقى .. ذاك السد المنيع.
هم قبائل كما عرفناها أو كما يقولون عنها، متوحشة. لكن العين التى أراهم بها والناحية التي أقف عندها لأراهم، نائية. فنحن المتوحشون في فهمنا ووصفنا للآخر الشمالى. أراهم متوحشين ولكن بمبادئ وعادات وتقاليد تُناسب هذه البقعة من الأرض التى خُلقوا وصُنعوا لها، ليس اختيارا منهم بل اختيارا عليهم، ولو اختاروا لَما كانوا هناك .
أُناس ليسوا أصحاب دين، وثنيين، ولكن أُختيروا بعناية الإله لهذه الأرض كسد منيع لصد وحوش أسطورية. ربما أسطورية لمُخيلاتنا، أما بالنسبة لهم فهي حقيقة وواقع .
وقد بدأ الأمر بصرخة، لتبدأ القصة فى غموض، ويبدأ هو صناعة مجده المنتظر بقلب شجاع وساعد قوي وصرخة غاضب جسور .
فمن هو ؟!! .
