قُمت فزعاً...
أتت السيالات العصبيّة* بأمر من المخ إلى حدقتيّ أن افتحَ ، كان ذلك حين أتتني الإضاءة الحارقة تُمزّق محجريّ فزفرتُ ضيقاً ثم وضحتْ الرؤية من بعد الاهتزاز فوجدتني مُسجىً على ظهري في أرض الغرفة والهاتف بجانبي مُضيئا ، أمسكتُه فوجدت رسالة كُتِب بها "تعال جراند حالاً" والساعة أصبحت السابعة والنصف مساءً ، وقفتُ ألتمس بعض الهواء من الشرفة.
عندها تذكّرتُ المشهد فعدتُ إلى الوراء بضع خطوات والصداع ينخر في رأسي كما ينخر السوس العظام, ذهبتُ إلى المرآة لأتأكد من ملامحي فوجدتني كما أنا.
شعري مازال طويلًا يصل إلى كتفي.
ولحيتي كما هي لم ينقُصها شعرة ، شَعرتُ بالارتياح فاتّجهتُ إلى الحمام ، بعد الدُش الساخن ارتديتُ ملابسي ثم وضعت الدفتر في جيب سترتي الرماديّة، وعند هبوط المصعد بي إلى الطابق الأرضي سلكتُ دربي إلى الجحيم...
