ابن ماكولا (421 - 475 هـ = 1030 - 1082 م)
علي بن هبة الله بن علي بن جعفر، أبو نصر، سعد الملك، من ولد أبي دلف العجلي: أمير، مؤرخ، من العلماء الحفاظ الأدباء.
أصله من جرباذقان (من نواحي أصبهان) ولد في عكبرا (قرب بغداد) وسافر إلى الشام ومصر والجزيرة وما وراء النهر وخراسان، وقتله غلمان له من الترك بخوزستان، خارجا من بغداد، طمعا بماله.
من كتبه «الإكمال - ط» أربعة مجلدات منه، في المؤتلف والمختلف من الأسماء والكنى والأنساب، قال ابن خلكان: لم يوضع مثله، و «تكملة الإكمال - خ» و «الوزراء» و «تهذيب مستمر الأوهام على ذوي المعرفة وأولي الأفهام - خ» في المخطوطات المصورة 121 ورقة.
