أقصص حكايتي اليوم ولا أعلم من سوف يقوم بقرائتها، ولتعلم بأني لا أهتم أيضًا بمن يقوم بقرائتها، بل إنني أقوم بتسجيلها لأمضي تلك الساعات القليلة المتبقية من عمري. ولتسامحني ياصديقي القارئ المجهول لأنني أقوم بتسجيلها بهذا الصوت الخافت الضعيف؛ فجسدي البالي لا يقوى حتى على حمل القلم والجلوس باعتدال للكتابة، نعم انا أموت في ريعان شبابي، لم أكمل عامي السادس والثلاثين، ولكن انتظر ياصديقي قبل أن يتسلل ذلك الشعور بالشفقة والحزن إلى قلبك؛ فلتعلم أنني مقابل ذلك وفي خلال عام واحد فقط قد جُبت جميع بلدان العالم وتحدثت جميع لغاتها، نعم ياصديقي؛ بل وأكثر من ذلك بكثير، قد تجد عندي أسرارًا في هذا الكون وأجوبة لأسئلةٍ قد حيرت أكبر علماء الفيزياء.
مرة أخرى سوف أطلب منك الانتظار قبل أن تحكم على كلامي هذا بالكذب، فلتنظر من حولك وستجد كثير من البشر قد أتتهم هبات ومواهب بين ليلة وضحاها، فعلى سبيل المثال لا الحصر هناك الرجل -"طوني سكوريا"- ذلك الطبيب الأمريكي الذي كان يقف في عام ١٩٩٤ بجوار كابينة هاتف عمومي وتم ضربه بواسطة صاعقة برق من السماء، نعم ياصديقي صاعقة برق من السماء، وليس العجيب ذلك، فلقد أفاق من تلك الصدمة وكأن شيئا لم يكن، ولكن العجيب أنه أصبح تأتيه تلك الرؤى العجيبة عن تأليف النوتات الموسيقية، والعجيب أن تلك الرؤى أخذت تتفاقم في رأسه حتى جلس على كرسي البيانو وأخذ يعزف لأول مرة في حياته مقطوعات موسيقية شهيرة لكبار المؤلفين أمثال موزارت وبيتهوفن وشوبان وتشيكوفسكي وغيرهم، بل وقد قام بتأليف المقطوعات والكونشرتو الخاص به وهو لم يكن يعلم حتى السلم الموسيقى، واليوم أصبح يعزف البيانو في أكبر وأشهر دور الأوبرا العالمية.
