روزين جوزيف بيرلبرج: عضوٌ مُشرِفٌ في الجمعيةِ البريطانيةِ للتحليلِ النَّفسي، ورئيسةُ لجنةِ المُقرَّراتِ الدِّراسيَّةِ بالجمعيةِ حاليًّا، وتَشغلُ منصبَ مُحاضِرٍ شَرفيٍّ أوَّلَ بكليةِ لندن الجامعية، وهي مُتخصِّصةٌ في نظريةِ التَّحليلِ النَّفسي. شاركَتْ في تحريرِ كتابِ «التجربة الأنثوية: خبرة ثلاثة أجيال من المُحللات النفسيات البريطانيات في التعامل مع النساء»، ولها العديدُ من الأبحاثِ المنشورةِ في مجلَّاتٍ عِلميَّةٍ دوليَّة.

هذا الكتابُ هو شرحٌ طالَ انتظارُه لأفكارِ العالمِ الشهير «سيجموند فرويد»، مؤسسٍ علمِ النفسِ الحديث. يوضِّحُ الكتابُ ما قدَّمه «فرويد» من إسهامٍ ثوري، وكيف دُمجَتْ نظرياتُه في المُمارسةِ السَّريريَّةِ الطبيَّةِ الحديثة، ويَجمعُ بينَ التحليلِ العميقِ لأعمالِه الأصليةِ وبعضٍ من التفسيراتِ الأحدثِ لها.
يضمُّ الكتابُ مجموعةً من الأوراقِ البحثيَّةِ كتبها بعضُ أشهرِ المُحلِّلينَ النَّفسيِّينَ داخلَ بريطانيا وخارِجَها، ممَّن قدَّموا إسهاماتٍ مُبتكَرةً لمجالِ التحليلِ النَّفسي، ويَستعرِضُ كلُّ فصلٍ من فُصولِه أحدَ النصوصِ الأساسيَّةِ التي كتبها «فرويد» ويَربطُه بالفكرِ المُعاصرِ في مجالِ التحليلِ النَّفسي، كما يَضمُّ بعضًا من أشهرِ الحالاتِ النَّفسيةِ التي تَولَّى «فرويد» علاجَها، والتي استَقى منها أغلبَ مفاهيمِ التحليلِ النَّفسيِّ التي يَعتمِدُ عليها الطبُّ النَّفسيُّ المُعاصر، إلى جانبِ مناقشاتٍ مُستفيضةٍ عن هذه الحالاتِ وأثَرِها في تطوُّرِ المنهجِ الفرويدي.
سيكونُ لهذا الكتابِ قِيمةٌ كُبرى داخلَ نطاقٍ واسعٍ من المُقرَّراتِ الخاصةِ بالتحليلِ النَّفسي، وكذلك بالنسبةِ إلى الدَّارسِين والباحثِين المُهتمِّين بأفكارِ التحليلِ النَّفسي.
