ومن جملة العلوم التي تضمنها القرآن الكريم هو التزويج والنكاح والتحصين، تنزيها للعباد عن الزنا والسفاح، وتطهيرا للخلق.
ولقد صَنَّفَ في هذا الموضوع العديد، وتضمنت مصَنّفاتهم الكثير من الأسماء والعناوين، وَغَلَب عليها الاستدلال بما لا أصل له، أو الاستناد إلى الضعيف من الأخبار، أو المجهول فيها رواتها، أو عن معلوم غير عادل، أو قبس من كتب أهل الخلف، مع أخبار مطولة خارج حدود الموضوع.
