رواية اجتماعية يغلفها بعض الفانتازيا ، تدور أحداثها في مصر وتنتقل الأحداث بالابطال إلى بلاد جديدة ينتقلون إليها عن طريق البحر من مكان مجهول قرب منطقة مثلث برمودا،
البطل الرئيسي هو عامر شاب عمره 25 عاما يعيش مع جدته من أبوه الذي توفى هو وأمه منذ صغره ولا يعلم ولا يذكر عنهما شيئا سوى أنهما فقدوا في حادث سير ، إلى أن يتلقى الصدمة وهي كشف سر وغموض اختفاء والداه بعد كل تلك السنين من خلال ماتخفيه الجده داخل صندوق قديم يحوي داخله كل المعلومات والأسرار عن والدته وكيف اختفت وهي باحثه وعالمه كانت قد كشفت عن حل لغز مثلث برمودا وضحت بعائلتها لتثبت اكتشافها ومن ثَم ذهب الأب للبحث عنها بعد اختفاؤها ، حتى قرر عامر المغامرة والبحث عنهما بالإستعانة بما وجد من وثائق وخرائط واحداثيات في صندوق الغموض هذا ، ولكن المغامرة لا تصح بدون رفيق وهو البطل الثاني صديقه الوفي إدريس ، وتبدأ المغامرة في البحر يشقونه بسفينة قبطان مغامر قديم حتى ينقلهم إلى النقطة المزعومة وينتقلوا عن طريق دوامات غريبة تظهر في البحر بعد أن تعرضوا للغرق ولم ينجو إلا عامر وصديقه حتى وجد كل منهما نفسه في بلاد غريبة ، مع أناس ملابسها مختلفه ، لهجتها مختلفه فاقد الذاكرة لا يعلم شيئاً وتبدأ الدنيا تختلف إلى حد الشقاء والمعاناة مع شعب يبحث عن نجاة على يد منقذ لهم من ذل حاكم لا يرحم وتظهر شخصية عامر التي لم يكن يعلمها إلا منذ وطأت قدماه تلك الأرض الغريبة ، قابل الحرب ، والثورة ، والشجاعة والخضوع ، الأمل واليأس ، و أيضاً وجد الحب الطاهر النقي وهو يبحث عن حب الفطرة وهو والداه وبصحبة رفيق دربه ومغامرته ..حتى استطاع بشجاعته وجرأته أن يحرر تلك الأرض من المعتدي الظالم وتسليم أمورها وشؤونها إلى الأميرة إبنه الملوك وصاحبة الأرض وصاحبة قلبه ..لكنه لم يجد سبب ومبتغى رحلته الأصلي وعندما قرر الإنسحاب للبحث عنهما في مكان آخر يرسل له أحد السجناء رساله مفادها أنه لديه معلومة عن ما يبحث عنه فيقرر المكوث ليرى ماذا يحمل له هذا الغريب في الأرض الغريبة ، أرض إيلاف.
