“ اعتقدت فيما مضى أن الحلال أيسر من ذلك .. و لكنني اكتشفت أن طريق الحلال ضائع في عالم من الضباب يمتليء بالعقبات و الآلام .. حتى أن الطريق نفسه شائك وعر .. أحيانا كانت تعبث بي نفسي أو الشيطان بأن القدر يدفعنا دفعًا للخطايا .. و أن الرب لا يريد ملائكة على الأرض.”
" مثل القمر العالق في مدار الأرض , يدور و يدور .. لا يقترب ولا يبتعد .. لا هو حي ولا هو ميت .. معتم .. ما يكتسبه من ضوء النهار ينفقه في جوف الليل .. تسائلت كثيرًا عن مصير القمر في نهاية الزمان .. هل سيصطدم بالأرض ؟ أم سيُطلق سراحه فيرحل عبر مجرات هذا الكون المظلم إلى مصير مجهول ؟ .. تبدو دائما اختيارات النهاية متساوية البؤس "
" أرى أولئك الشباب في سياراتهم الفارهة .. و النساء الجميلات بجوارهم .. و أتساءل كيف كنت سأبدو لو كنت أحدهم .. تولد بين عائلة ثرية .. تتلقى أرقى تعليم .. ترتدي أفضل الملابس .. تتناول أفضل طعام .. كل شيء في الحياة ينالك منه أفضله .. لن تهلك في فكرة أنك تعمل من أجل أن توفر المال اللازم للزواج .. تتعرف على أجمل الفتيات .. و تحظى بمن تريد منهم .. جيل بعد جيل يتوارث الحياة .. و جيل بعد جيل يتوارث الفقر و الموت و هو يولد و يدفن في القذارة .. كنت أتساءل كثيرا عن مسمى هذا الأمر .. شخص من أولئك قد تفوق علي في كل شيء .. كيف أستطيع أن أسميه عدلًا ؟! .. و أنا حتى لا أستطيع أن أحصل على وجبة إفطاره.. كيف و طموحي أن يعادل دخلي الشهري ما ينفقه على سجائره فقط ."
