الحبّ سرُّ الله في صلصال الجماد والطين, حرفانِ يختصران اللغات والمساحة والجهات, قلوبٌ غامرت بالسكينة والهدوء والاستقرار بحثاً عن حياة وعن نبضٍ أوسع عندما ضاقت بحجمها الصدور. هو وصفة الأرواح التي صادفت توائمها ذات لهفة؛ فاستشارت خيارات الضياع كلّها، واختارت الهروب إلى الأمام نحو الشمس، مغامرةً بكلِّ شيء من أجل كلِّ شيء.
الحب هو ما تسمو به النفس لتُغادر طينها؛ لذا كان سبباً من أسباب الحياة بل وأكبرها, وعليه كانت أوّل الأشياء في دمنا، فحتّى عبادة الله تمرّ في أعظم تجلياتها عبرَ الحبّ.
والحبُّ على ما به من وافر النعم؛ إلاّ أنّه لم يعرف التّرتيب يوماً, يجيءُ عاصفاً بالمفاجئات مُسيطراً على الروح فارضاً أشياءه على سقف متطلباتها، فيجعل من ضحاياه سفناً متعبة تتخبط بين موجةٍ وأخرى.
إذاً، للحبّ جانبانِ: منيرٌ مُفرِح ومعتمٌ مبكٍ. وما أكثر العشاق الذين ما إن تذوقوا حلاوةَ الجانب الأوّل حتى باغتتهم مرارةُ الجانب الثاني! فحفظت لنا الأيام صرخاتِهم وهم يسقطون من شاهقِ الفرح إلى عميقِ الخيبة.
وفي هذا الكتاب نحاول أن نقتفي العثرات في دروب العشق، وأن نعيد سيرة بعض العشّاق الذين لم ينصفهم الحبّ.
