قد يكون من المحتمل أن آلاف اليونان والعرب الذين استقروا في البلاد قد تمكنوا من إحداث أثر ضئيل في المدن الكبيرة التي استقروا فيها مجتمعين ، ولكن باقي البلاد التي تشمل آلاف القرى بقيت محافظة على مصريتها الثابتة وتقاليدها القديمة دون أن يعتورها نقص أو تأثر، فالفلاح الحالي لا يزال يشبه أجداده الذين عاشوا منذ أربعة آلاف سنة تمام المشابهة.
