بدهشة ميز النبضة المضيئة..
ميز البناء المكعب الذي يراه كل يوم وسط زحام الطائفين والفنادق التي تطاولت عليه…
مرمريًّا، مكسوًّا بالأبيض، منقوشًا عليه عهود الله بدم الإنسان..
وميز عنده بئرًا لا يعلم عنها شيئًا إلا أهل مريمة..
أمامها وقف عاجزًا ومن خلفه كعبته العتيقة…
كعبته التي رآها وهي تتلون بلون جديد وكأنها كسوة أخرى تتخلق حولها، تتداخل فيها ألوان كعبة مريمة…
وبكى وهو يرى نقوش الدماء تتحول قطرة قطرة إلى رجال ونساء وصبية، بحركات متقطعة وكأنها رقصة على إيقاع غير مسموع أو نقوش حكاية مرسومة على جدار مقبرة مصرية، تتحرك من جدار مريمة إلى كعبة الله الواحد ثم تنطبع عليها..
كل رجل حرف..
كل طفل تشكيلة..
والمرأة زينة حزينة تحيط بالكلمات…
