كانت الصحافة الفكاهية وسيلة من وسائل محاربة البدع والخرافات وانتقاد إسراف المرأة في التحرر والسفور والتجاء ( الشباب الخليع) إلى المجون والميوعة أو العاطلين بالوراثة إلى قضاء الوقت فيما يضر ويسيء، لذا تمتع بالكتاب وبالطرافة والفكاهة التي تملأ صفحاته.
