اسمي نرجس، و"غزير" ليس زوجي السابق، ولا زوجي الحالي، ليس صديقي فقط، وليس حبيبي أيضاً، لا أحبّه، لا أعرف بدقةٍ معنى الحبّ، أو كيف أشعر به على النحو الذي يجب عليه أن يكون، أعرف أشياء تشبه الحبّ، أو تتفوق عليه ربّما، مثل تعلقي الشديد بابنتي التي لا أعرف كيف باغتتني وأتت إلى الحياة رغماً عن أنفي، أجد أن شيئاً مثل هذا يستطيع أن يكون أكبر من الحبّ، أو أثقل منه، لا أمتلك ميزاناً للكلمات لأعرف أيهما أكثر وزناً (أكبر أو أثقل)، ما أعرفه على وجه الدقة أنّ غزيراً يحتلُّ موقعاً متأخراً جداً في حياتي إذا ما قيس الأمر بابنتي.
أجبرتُ على ارتداء قناعاتٍ متنوعة في الحياة، لم أعتنقها، ولم أفكّر فيها طويلاً، كانت تمرُّ قبالة عقلي مجموعةٌ من الأفكار تلوّح لي، وتبتسمُ بسخرية من استطاع اقتناص فرصةٍ من العقل الصغير لإحداثِ فوضى، هذا ما استطعت استنتاجه من تبريرات غزير لسلوكي غير الناضج فكرياً كما يحلو له القول.
