كمْ جَميل أنْ يَكُون الموت محض اختفَاء جَسدي، فَبدل أن تَرى المَّيت وهو صَامت وممدد على نعش خشبي، وتتَذكر في حزن شَديد أنّه كَان قبل مدة يمَازحك، أو يحَدثك عنْ مَاضيه، وعْن ذكريَاته مع النسَاء والخمرة والتَّسَكع في الحواري، ويتأسف لأنَّه لمْ يُحقق أي حلم من أحلامه الكثيرة... قلت بدلا من أنْ تَراه ممددا تراه وَهو يختفي منْ أَمَامك نهائيا، حين تُنزع روحَه وتَختفي أولاً، يختفي الجسد هو الآخر مَعهَا، فلِمَ تختفي الروح فقط؟ علَى الجَسد أيضا أن يَختفي، كي لا نجد جسَدا ندفنه، وكَي لاَ تتَألم الأرض من سيل الأجساد بهَا، وكَي لاَ نّرهق أنفسنَا بالبكاء وبطقُوس الغسل والدفن، وكي لا نُّعطي فرصَة للدود كي يَأكل أجسَاد أحبتنَا، وكَي لاَ نَتَصور أنَّ جَسد من أحببنَا سيصير كومَة هشة من عظام ويتحول الباقي إلى سماد طبيعي للأرض؛ كمْ هو صَعب أن تَعرف أنّ حَبيبتك التي كنتَ تمسكها بينَ يَديك كل مَساء- مثلا -ستكون سَمَادا يوما ما للأرض ...أن يَختفي الجَسد مثلما تَختفي الرُّوح سيكون أمرا جميلا.
