النفس البشرية ذلك اللغز الذي ما زعم زاعم أنه سبر أغوارھا واجتاز بحارھا وخاض غمارھا، وأنه على درایة بأھوائھا
وطبائعھا وحظوظھا وما تكتنف من آفات و ِعلَل. إذ یكتشف ـ شیئًا فشیئًا ـ أنه كلما تعّمق تاه، وكلما أوغل تعب في الوصول إلى منتھاه وبلوغ مبتغاه؛ لما في النفس البشریة من ِعلَل وأغلال، ولما فیھا من تناقض واعوجاج وتلُّون واضطراب یتعذر استیعابه. إن معرفة الإنسان لنفسه تساعده على ضبط أھوائھا، ووقایتھا من الغوایة، والابتعاد بھا عن الانحراف، ومن ثم تتكون لدیه الشخصیة المتكاملة. ویتصف صاحب الشخصیة المتكاملة بقدرته على إقامة علاقات إیجابیة بنّاءة في المجتمع، وقدرته على السلوك السوي الخالي من التناقضات، وقدرته على احتمال الشدائد والصعاب ومواجھتھا، وثبات انفعالاته واعتدالھا، وعدم إحساسه بالتوتر والقلق،وقدرته على الانتاج والاحساس المستمر بالرضا والسعادة
ولذلك، أجدني بعد قراءات أدعي أھمیتھا في ھذا المضمار، قد شّمرت العزم وشددت الحزم على الإسھام الفكري في ھذا المیدان، ورفد مكتباتنا العربیة والإسلامیة بإسھام متواضع لعله یقِّدم جدیًدا أو یؤكد على سابق أو یكمل فكرة منقوصة أو جملة مبتورة أو رؤیة محذوفة أو یصحح مساًرا أو یزیح ستارا أو یضيء معتًما أو یشیر إلى ضائع فیجده
