هذه الدراسة دراسة أسلوبيّة - نقديّة تتناول منطقة إبداعيّة حديثة من الشعر الحديث، بأدوات وتقنيّات نقديّة معاصرة، ومنها: الأسلوبيّة – علم الصوتيّات – الظواهر اللفظيّة في الأشعار- البنية التركيبيّة للنص.
إنّ موضوع الأسلوبيّة يُعدّ من المواضيع الشائكة بالنظر إلى كثرة المصطلحات المتداولة حوله، والتي لا يمكن استبعاد أيٍّ منها، إذ تجد مبرّرات وجودها.
تعمل الأسلوبيّة على إنشاء طرائق متميّزة تساعد على رؤية الأسلوب، وذلك بابتداع مظاهر خاصّة بها، إذ يشكل الأسلوب اختياراً واعياً لأدوات التعبير، لذلك لا بدّ في بداية هذا التقديم، من فصل الجنس عن الأسلوب، إذ يتخذ كلٌّ منهما اللغة وتحوّلاتها أداة تعبير له. فالجنس الغنائي يصوّر المشاعر بطريقة حادّة: كالقصائد التاريخيّة والرّثاء؛ والجنس الأسطوري يصوّر مغامرات بطوليّة شعريّة قصصيّــة؛ أمّا الجنس الإرشادي فيحتوي على حقائق ذات نظام أخلاقي.
هذه الدراسة تنتمي إلى التحليل الأسلوبي المعاصر المناقض للدراسات التي تحتاج إلى تحليل للخروج من غموضها، كدراسة البلاغة للصور؛ فليست مهمّة الأسلوبي السعي وراء المبهم والغامض، وتحليله وإبرازالمقاصد التي وُضع من أجلها فقط، وإنّما السعي إلى دراسة المبهم وغير المبهم، لتقويم العمل الأدبي كلّه دون تخصيص للأدبيّة على البلاغة أو للألسنيّة على الأدبيّة؛ فإذا كان التعبير (يا للفقير!) نداءً تعجبيّاً يرتبط بالنبر من الناحية اللسانيّة، فهو من الناحية الأسلوبيّة يعبّرعن انفعال!
لذلك سوف يتم التفريق عند دراسة قصيدة (مرحى غيلان) منذ اللحظة الأولى بين نظام الجملة (الجوهر الذي لا يمكن المساس به: فعل + فاعل / مبتدأ + خبر)، وبين البنية (ما يخلّفه النظام الأوّل للجملة من أبنية لاحقة تظهر على السطح التركيبي وفي عمق الدلالة، وتؤدّي إلى إعادة بناء الجملة بصياغة مختلفة).
