بعد خبرة عشر سنوات في تعليم صفي العلوم والاقتصاد، ودراسة وتحليل الامتحانات الرسميّة، ارتأيت أن أجمع كتابَي العلوم والاقتصاد ضمن دفتي كتاب واحد أُقسمه إلى أبواب تخدم المحاور المقرّرة في المنهج الرسميّ ولكنّها تسير في رياض متنوّعة يقطف منها الطالب في فرع العلوم ما يخدم المُقرّر لصفّه وما يشتهيه من ثمار اللغة، وكذلك الأمر يفعل الطالب في فرع الاقتصاد. وقد دفعني إلى ذلك عدّة أمور:
1 ـ وحدة الكفايات والأهداف التعليميّة بين الصفين إلى حدّ كبير.
2 ـ اشتراك بعض الموضوعات في المحاور بين الصّفين.
3 ـ حبّ المتعلّمين في صف العلوم دراسة نصوص أكثر حيويّة وإبداعاً.
4 ـ رفع المستوى اللّغوي لدى المتعلّمين ولا سيما دراسة نصوص رفيعة المستوى.
