في إحدى ليالي حياتي الحزينة المؤلمة، قابعا في زاوية في غرفتي الباردة على ضوء خافت، أمسكت قلمي محاولا إخراج ما في داخلي من حزن ململما آلام ما زرعته في سني حياتي، ثمار كان طعمها مر وحتى ألوانها كانت داكنة، فإذا بقلمي ينفر مني ويبتعد عني وكلما أردت التقاطه ارتجف بين أصابعي وسقط من يدي، فسألته: لماذا تهرب مني وأنا اعتدت عليك وفي كل صباح نرتشف القهوة سويا وثالثنا يكون قلبي، أتهرب مني أم من قدري الحزين، لم تتركني وحيدا اليوم وأنت أول من يعلم بحالي وأحوالي، وأول من فضحت له أسراري، وأنت تدري أن هناك من طمأن روحي وعبد طريق حياتي وعدل وزين ضفاف مساري؟
