تجمع الشاعرة ليليان يمّين في ديوان «غابَةُ الْيَدَيْنِ» الشعر في الحُب والحب في الشعر، وقد صَنعت قصائدها من وِردُ المحبة، وَرَقّت حروفها بأيدٍ من مشاعر؛ فتَولّدت عنها قصائد تكتب نفسها بنفسها، بمعنى أن كل قصيدة تُسْمِعنا معناها الخاص، أنى تكن وجهته؛ للذات أو الوجود، أو الوطن، أو الأهل. وهي في بوحها تُفاجئك بما هو أكثر من نغمةٍ وترنيمة بلغت أوجَها فسلطنت على صاحبِها ومتلقيها بعسل الكلام.
"غابَةُ اليَدَيْن" حديقة شعرية مزهرة، بلغتها المكثفة وإيحائيتها وباطنيتها وخيالاتها التي لا شك أنها أصابت المرمى في مقاصده… قدّم للمجموعة بقراءة نقدية الدكتور شوقي الريس ومما جاء فيها: "لا تسَلْها برهاناً هذه الكلمات المتدلّية من أغصان «غابَةُ الْيَدَيْنِ»، فهي استبصارٌ وشُهُبٌ من الفرح تخترق الظلام وتذهب في الإضاءة بعيداً، ثم تترك عطراً من غار الجرود على وسادة المكان الأوّل الذي يجمع بين الضفاف والأفق.
كلمات ليليان يمّين "تقف على حافة صوتٍ من عَرَق جبينه يغتسل المساء"، وتسرح في غابة، كمثل خابية قديمة، مليئة بالوعد. وحميمٌ هو البيتُ الذي تبنيه بلغةٍ تمسّ المعاني كما الضوءُ تمسّ شفاهُه يأسَ الحب، وتعبُر في القلب كما السحاب فوق مناحل العسل.
خوفٌ يسكنها، وبين شفتيها يغنّي قصب الكلام، به تتحمّل هذا الزمن، هادئة مطمئنة، وفي كتاب غابتها تقرأ بكاء الشجر وأنينه، وترى إلى الحياة تهبط على سلّم من الدمع الذي يحفر ودياناً عميقة في جفاف الروح. وحبٌّ "فائض" هو الذي يسكنها فيما تلملم الذكريات "وتخشى على الحجر من قاع البحر". ولكن هل أجمل من هذا الحبّ الذي يضيئنا ويزيد العتمة في داخلنا؟…".
