ضحك بشدة ليصدر عنه صوت وصل إلى آخر الفندق فهو ليس مثلنا في شيء؛ لقد تفوق على كل شياطين الأرض وكل عقلٍ بشري، انتظر حتى تعرف بنفسك أنه غير باقي البشر ولكن لا تُصدم بواقعه فمهما وصل مدى شره هناك من هم أعلى منه مرتبة ينتظرون أن يحققوا شرهم وشهواتهم ليمتلكوا كل ما يطمحوا إليه….
تحرك الشيطان بداخله فجعله يحكم قبضته على التمثال الأثري, جذبه منها بعنف لا تستطيع هي برقتها مقاومته قبض على التمثال بقوة وأطاح برأسها بضربة قوية، وقعت على الأرض، تناثرت دمائها في كل مكان، انهال عليها بضربة ثانية ثم ثالثة، خرج من نوبة غضبه ليجد نفسه قد قتلها, نظر إليها وهي ممدة على الأرض بثوبها الأزرق، تمالك نفسه بعد وقت قصير، أزال كل علامة تدل عليه في مسرح الجريمة، وجد مفكرة كُتب بداخلها بعض الكلمات, قرأها "" تمضى نصف الحياة ونحن نحاول أن نعرف معنى الحياة "" خطرت له فكرة فلم يتأخر في تنفيذها ...
