لم يجل بخاطري أبدًا أن تضعني الأقدار ها هنا يومًا ما ، أتألّم كل يوم دون جديد ، نفْس الملل ، نفْس الوجوه ، نفْس الجدران ، نفْس الهدوء القاتل .. عدا هذه الليلة .
أسمعُ أصوات متفرقة ، لا أدري مصدرها تحديدًا ، لكنني أشعر أن هناك ما يُدَبّر في الخفاء .
إعتدلت في فراشي ، مشيْتُ بخطوات بطيئة بإتجاه النافذة الوحيدة الموجودة التي لم يشفع لِمَن بناها ضيق مساحتها ، فأضاف لحجمها الهزيل عِدّة قضبان مِن باب الإمعان في تصدير الإكتئاب ، إقتربت منها مُصغيًا السمع في الظلام ، ليفاجئني صوت ""طلبة"" الخشن :
_ هو إيه إللّي مسهّرك لحد دلوقت يا عم ""حمدي"" ؟ .
إنتفضت ناظرًا تجاههُ : ولا حاجة يا ""طلبة"" يابني أصلي سمعت صوت غريب جايْ مِن الحُوش.
رد بجفاء :
_ ماتشغلش بالك يا عم ""حمدي"" ، إرجع نام في فرْشِتك وقول أعوذُ بالله مِن الشيطان الرجيم .
هززت رأسي بطاعة تامة وعُدت مِن حيثُ أتيْت ، أمام كِبَر سنّي لا أملكُ مع الجميع سِوى الطاعة ، فكيف لعجوز مِثلي تخطّى السِتين ببضع سنوات أن يعترض أو يعصَى أيٌ مِن المجرمين الذين يرافقونه حياته منذ أكثر مِن ثلاثة أعوام ، ولازال باقي عامان آخران ، أو على الأقل بضعة شهور إن خرجت مِن هنا قبل ميعادي لحسن السِير والسلوك .
نعم أنا نزيل في سِجن ""الفيوم"" المركزي منذُ حوالي ثلاث سنوات ، نزيل غيرُ مُعترف بِجرمه الذي أقرّهُ كل مَن كان بالمحكمة حتى مُحاميهِ الذي دافعَ عنهُ .. وهُم جميعًا مُخطئون .
كيف يُسجَنُ رجل نجحَ في إسترداد ما سُرِقَ مِنه ، مع أنهم إعترَفوا بحقّي لكنهم إستنكروا أن أسترجعه.. مهزلة.
