لا أحد يعرف بالضبط متى بدأت الحكاية ، كل ما يعيه الأحياء هنا أنهم أبناء النور ، عباد الإله الأوحد ، ساكنى أرض رينجار التى سميت على اسم أبنهم الأول جار . تتوسط رايتهم البيضاء دائرة مطلية باللون الأصفر كما الدائرة التى تنير أرضهم دوما بلا اختفاء او غروب فتحييها وتحييهم : (نيبرا)، لذا عرفوا بأبناء النور تنتهى حدود أرضهم ناحية الغرب والجنوب ببحر محيط لم يعبره أحد قبلا ورجع ، أو هكذا يشاع ، ويحيط بهم من الشرق والشمال سلاسل من الجبال العظيمة . تفصلهم عن أرض الديجور فى الشرق التى يطلق ساكنوها عليها ( نيرفور ) وتفصلهم عن موطن الحكماء فى الشمال الذى يعبر إليه عن طريق ممر الهلاك ( ساليجيا).
