""كل هذا ملكي.. أنا"" تعتمد على تعدد الأصوات تتكون من ستة فصول تحكيها خمس سيدات. ""زايا"" الأخت الكبرى، تبدأ الحكاية في الفصل اللأول وتنهيها في الفصل الأخير. ابنتها، وأمها وأختيها يتبعانها في الحكي. كل واحدة منهن تحكي قصتها وكأنها تتذكرها – القفز من زمن لزمن آخر، والإشارة إلى أسماء لا نعرفها بعد، والمرور بأحداث وشخصيات سمعنا عنها من الأخريات وهكذا. بالتدريج تبدأ القصة كاملة تضح لنا. ومع تقدم الرواية نشعر باختلاف أسلوب الحكي ونبدأ بالشعور باختلاف الأجيال، وكيف أن هذه العائلة تعاني من الاختلال في علاقاتها الإنسانية، عائلة ممزقة بين المدينة والقرية وخاصة بعد تأثر المدينة بالتطورات المختلفة. ولكن رغم كل هذه التغيرات لا تزال هناك بعض الأشياء التي بقيت من أيامهم القديمة؛ خبرتهم مع الأحصنة، إحساس الألفة مع الجِمال، وترك جثث الموتى على التل لتأكلها الوحوش البرية، والشامانية، والمعتقدات التي آمنوا بها لمدة طويلة: ""قالت جدتي إنك يمكنك أن تشتمى رائحة سوء الحظ. وقالت إن كل حيوان يستطيع أن يشتم رائحة سوء الحظ الحزينة"".
الرواية أغلبها عن النساء. يوجد الوالد بالطبع، وذلك الدخيل عليهم ""ميرجين""، وهناك""جارجال"" الوسيم، وأخوه ""نايمان""، اللذان يقيمان معهم في المنزل ليساعدا والدهن مع القطيع. ولكننا لا نعرف الكثير عن الرجال في هذه الرواية؛ عن حياتهم الخاصة. نحن نعرفهم عن طريق رد فعل النساء معهم.
