نالت جائزة أصدقاء الثقافة في سوريا عن روايتها "هرولة فوق صقيع توليدو"، وجائزة سيناريو عن فيلم للأطفال في مهرجان القاهرة الدولي لسينما الطفل.
ولدت في اللاذقية 1942.
تعمل أمينة سر لفرع اتحاد الكتاب العرب في اللاذقية.
نشرت قصصها الأولى في الصحف والمجلات السورية.
فازت بجائزة الرواية لأصدقاء دمشق، وجائزة مهرجان الأطفال في القاهرة عام 1996.
عضو جمعية القصة والرواية.

"في محنة الأرمن المساقين، نساءً وأطفالاً وشيوخاً، على دروب المنافي القاتلة، تكافح آرشا للبقاء على قيد الحياة مع طفليها التوأم.
الجوع والعطش والخوف والمرض والعذاب والموت المخيّم، كلّ ذلك يدفعها إلى إنقاذ حياة طفلتها بتسليمها إلى سيّدة عربية. والأسباب نفسها تدفع إلى حضنها طفلة زوجة الآغا الأرمنية التي خطفت الكوليرا ابنيها وقتل الأتراك زوجها. ولا يلبث أن ينضمّ إلى حضن آرشا طفلها آفو، ثمرة أحشائها بعد تعرّضها للاغتصاب.
لورا التي ولدت في حلب بعد سنوات من انقضاء المحنة، تستعيد من حكايات جدّتها آرشا، وذكريات والدها وعمّها، ومن الكتب والوثائق، مشاهد تلك المحنة الرهيبة ووقائعها."
