يتناول هذا الكتاب قضايا مهمة في النقد الحديث ويحاول ان يوائم بين الاطار النظري التجريدي للمناهج النقدية الحديثة وبين الفضاء التجريبي او التطبيقي على النصوص الادبية التي تم اختيارها بدقة مع تصور خاص بالناقد وفق رؤية خاصة من اختلاف في التحليل نابعة من رغبة في النظر من زوايا متعددة في النص وفق مسا يرة تطورات الحاصلةة على الصعيد التقني والثقافي الذي يمر به البدع ولهذا كانت هذه المقاربات مختلفة في الاتجاهات الا انها متشابه في التناول الاجرائي والتحليل النقدي وتبع جدة هذا الكتاب من انه يقف على مفاصل دقيقة وحساسة في اختياره للنصوص ذات مسارات حداثوية واضحة اسهمت في وضع اسس الحداثة العربية على نمط التماهي الاجناسي لهذا ينبغي التعامل مع هذه النصوص المختاربمناهج جديدة تتلائم مع واقع الشعرية والاسلوبية التي تنتمي اليها هذه النصوص.
