اليوم الثالث من شهر ميلادى، وبينما أنا نائم مستريحاً من عناء البحث عن قوت يومى ويوم عيالى بفعل تأثير مرتب اليوم الأول من الشهر الذى انتهى مفعوله مساء أمس، سمعت صريخاً من إحدى بناتى أقلق راحتى الشهرية، فإذا هى ابنتى وقد داهمها «الأعور» تاركاً كل ذوات القدرة الذين يعيشون حولنا ومستعفيا علينا.
انتهزت أم العيال الفرصة ووكزتنى بِغلّ عشرات السنوات الماضية صارخة: قوم شوف بنتك إنت مش راجل، فأفقت من غفوتى مندهشاً من هذه الصفة التى تنعتنى بها زوجتى لأول مرة.
ما علينا.. توجهت بالطفلة إلى المستشفى الأميرى الذى طلب منى «باكوين» من فئة الجنيهات كتأمين.. أو قرارا من وزارة الصحة.. بعد شد وجذب وتدخل أولاد الحلال قبل المشرف على دخول المستشفى قبول ابنتى وإجراء الجراحة ورهنها فى المستشفى حتى صدور القرار بعد أن وضعت الورقة بمية الباقية من راتبى فى جيبه دون تسجيلها فى الدفاتر.
وبعد هرولة فى شوارع المنهوبة وصلت إلى مبنى المجالس الطبية مخترقاً بفعل أبوتى الفطرية أجساد مئات البشر حتى وصلت إلى شباك خلفه فتاة منكوشة، وقلت لها مستغيثاً: بنتى مرهونة فى المستشفى وعاوز قرار أفك بيه الرهنية.. فاتسعت حدقات عينها ووقف شعرها كأنه أصيب بصدمة كهربائية 1000 فولت، وصرخت: إحنا مش محل أنتيكات، ونظرت إلى يافع عريض بجانب الشباك قائلة: «ارموه بره»، فوجدت نفسى ملقَى أمام ولاد الحلال الذين نصحونى بالتوجه لأحد النواب وياحبذا لو كان من الحزب الوطنى، أو لصحفى من الواصلين ليصدر لى قرارا مقابل نصف قيمته فقط، فانتفضت مفزوعاً بفعل عجزى عن توفير نصف القيمة للواسطة حتى تلقفنى ناصح أمين قائلاً: «بنتك مش مؤمن عليها فى المدرسة روح التأمين».
وفى التأمين الصحى تأملنى موظف مندهشاً، وابتلانى بكلمات ساخرة: «جاى التأمين من غير بطاقة ومن غير بنتك وبعد ما وديتها مستشفى من غير تعليماتنا، إنت فاكرها سايبة.. روح يا فندى خرج البت من المستشفى وكمّل الإجراءات وهات الكارنيه وتعالى».
