تقع في حياتنا حوادث؛ بعضها يُشكل نطفة ما بدواخلنا، ويقتل بعضها الآخر أشياءً ربما يكون في قتلها ما يُكمل هيئة النطفة، قليلٌ ما يشعرنا بالخفة، وكثيرٌ يثقل كواهلنا، وربما يكون مجموعهما غير مفهوم لأحد سوى من تتشكل داخله تلك النطفة.
""صوت الغراب"" هي واحدة من إبداعات الروائي والقاص ""عادل عصمت""، التي يصف فيها ببراعة كيف يبدأ الألم في التشكل، كيف يفقدنا السيطرة على ذواتنا وحتى الإحساس بها، كيف يمكنه أن يغيرنا دون وعي منا، كيف تنقطع بنا سبل تخفيف الألم، وكيف أن هذه السبل ربما تأتي - على قلتها - في أبسط الأمور؛ دراجة ربما تكون أول ما يحفز الرغبة داخل المرء في الطيران.
ولد ""عادل عصمت"" في محافظة الغربية سنة 1959، تخرج في قسم الفلسفة - كلية الآداب - جامعة عين شمس سنة 1984، صدرت للكاتب مجموعة قصص قصيرة باسم ""قصاصات"" عن الهيئة المصرية للكتاب، وعدد من الروايات، منها: ""هاجس موت"" و""الرجل العاري"" و""حياة مستقرة"" و""أيام النوافذ الزرقاء""، التي حازت على جائزة الدولة التشجيعية في الرواية سنة 2011، عن دار شرقيات، وكتاب ""ناس وأماكن"" عن هيئة قصورالثقافة، ورواية ""حكايات يوسف تادرس""، الحائزة على ميدالية نجيب محفوظ للأدب سنة 2016 من قسم النشر - الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، عن الكتب خان
