الرواية تتناول قصص متعددة لأشخاص تربطهم روابط غريبة بحيث تدور بهم الحياة ويجتمعون في النّهاية تحت سقفٍ واحدٍ بعدما أكلوا من نفس الأطباق والجِراح. أحدهم عامل يبني المستوطنات في فلسطين والثاني طبيب نفسي هجر بلاده ليدرس في الغرب والثالث فقد ذاكرته في حدثٍ غريب أما الرابع فقد سُجن وفقد تعريفه الصحيح لذاته ليخوض صراعاً بين الحقيقة التي تنبع من الداخل والأكاذيب التي تزيّنها الحياة بالنسبة للشخصية الخامسة فهي ما تناوله غلاف الرّواية من حبٍّ وتضحيةٍ وجذورٍ تأمل أن تُغرس يوماً في بلادها، رواية فانتازيا تعبّر عن الواقع الفلسطيني والبحث عن الذّات
