ما بين دَفَقِ الحنين، واشتغال الحرف، تتشكل حيرة الكاتب، فيتساءل «هل الفنية تعني إقصاء التاريخي واليومي والإيديولوجي لِحِسَابِ مَنْ؟»1 يتسربل جواب هذه الحيرة في تواليف نصية مضَمخَة بعشق الأرض حين يستيقظ تاريخها على طبول الذكرى في وجدان شعيب حليفي فيلاحق المشهد أو يلاحقه المشهد في خِضم يوميات تعانق القلم على إيقاع التعبير الحالم.
