عندما رأت العصافير التي تعيش على الشجرة الكبيرة بجوار المتحف المصري والثورة التي قام بها الشباب في يوم 25 يناير، قرروا أن يثوروا هم أيضا ويعرضوا مطالبهم على العصفور الكبير الذي رفض ثورتهم وأخذ شنطته وقرر الرحيل ولكن الأم حاولت إقناعة فرحل، خرجت العصافير الثائرة تتجول لتجري فوقعت عند كل شباك ووجدت أن كل الأطفال في المنازل معترضون ويرفضون الذهاب للمدرسة، ويريدون زيادة المصروف، فعادت العصافير وأجتمعت مع الجدة حتى يصلوا إلى طريقة جديدة للتعايش.
