*ويصف لنا الكاتب تلك المدينة وصفا دقيقا وكيف كانت الحياة فيها من سكان وأسواق وتجارة للعبيد وكيف احتدم الصراع بين الكنيســـة والقصر حتى وصل إلى حرب تهدد بزوال المملكة القوية ..ودور ترجمان الملك دلمار ومن بعده حفيده سيسى فى حفظ أسرار المملكة ومؤازرة الملك النجاشى ودحر المؤامرات التى حيكت ضده من الوزراء والكنيسة والسحرة....إلى غيرذلك من أحداث ينسجها الكاتب فى بناء متماسك..وحبكة قوية لا تخلو من عنصر التشويق.
