استيقظتْ فجرًا،
وخرجتْ إلى الشـرفة، كأنما انخرطت في صلاة طويلة، سكبت في روحها، نقاءً عجيبًا، كسا ملامحَها وضاءةٌ من نوع جديد،
كانت ترتدي ثوبًا منسوجًا من نجمات السماء في الليالي الصافية،
فتحت صدرها، وملأته بدفعات عريضة من نسمات الصباح البارد المنعش النقي الذي تحبه،
ثم دخلت؛
لتصنع قهوتها المخففة التي تتمنى دومًا أن ترتشفها مع حبيبها كلما
سمح الوقت بذلك.
ألقت نظرة على وجهه وهو نائم،
وتمنت أن تتوقف عقارب الساعة، حتى لا تنقطع هذه اللذة التي تأتيها من ملامح وجهه الوسيم الذي يسبح في براءة متناهية لا تفارقه!
تمنت لو طبعت قبلة على جبينه،
أو أنها شبكت أصابعها في أصابعه، وضغطت عليها؛ لتنقل إليه كل مشاعرها التي تفيض في قلبها،
ثم نزلت،
لتجده عند النهر،
يرفع الماء؛ ليغسل ما تناثر على الطريق من الدماء!
