عندما فكرت فى كتابة مذكراتي، كان علي أولاً أن أحسم السؤال الهام، الذى يتوقف على إجابته أن أمضي قدماً في كتابتها، أم أتوقف وأتجاوز الأمر.. كان السؤال: هل سأبوح بكل شئ، أم سأحتفظ لنفسي ببعض الأسرار؟ .. السؤال لم يكن بالسهل، وربما يدرك صعوبته كل من سبقني بكتابة مذكراته، أو فكر في كتابتها ثم آثرالسلامة، وطرح الفكرة جانباً فكرت كثيراً، وفى النهاية حسمت أمري، وقررت أن أمسك بالقلم، وأتركه حراً طليقاً، أروي من خلاله ما مر في حياتي بكل صدق، وأبوح بكل ما لدى من أسرار بكل صراحة، وبكل أمانة، ودون زيادة أو نقصان. وفى هذه المذكرات سأروي قصة حياتي من خلال المحطات التى مررت بها، بحلوها ومرها، أيام السعادة، وأيام الشقاء، وكيف بدأت حياتي شيالا بـ "سوق اللحمة"، وذقت الأمرين كي أكون، قبل أن ألقي المصير الذى ينتظر كل من يحاول أن يتجاوز خطوط النجاح المرسومة من قبل النظام، والتى لا يجب أن يتخطاها أحد، فيكون مصيره مؤامراتلا قبل لأحد بها، ويتم فيها تجنيد كل أفراد النظام، واستخدام كل أسلتحه، للفتك بالخارجين عن الخط أمثالى. في هذه المذكرات عزيزي القارئ ستكتشف معي أن القضايا ليست كما يتم تقديمها إلى الشعب، وأن ما يطرح من حقائق قد يكون من نسج زبانية النظام، وفق خطة ممنهجة لتصفية كل من لايروق لأهل السلطة، كما حدث معي.
في هذه المذاكرات سأروي بالأسماء ماحدث بيني وبين شخصيات نعرفها جميعاً، ومسؤولين كبار حكمونا طويلاً، وفي هذة المذكرات أيضا ستعرف عزيزي القارئ كيف كانت تدار دولتنا، وكيف كانت تسير عكس الاتجاه، وعكس مصلحة البلد، من خلال كم الأسرار الهائلة التى اكشف عنها، وكلي أمل أن تفسر الكثير من الأحداث، وتميط اللثام عن الكثير من القضايا من الأمور، وأيضا تقدم ما يرفض كثيرون ممن تعرضوا لمؤامرات وافتراءات تقديمة، إيثاراً للسلامة.
