يحمل اسمَهُ «نادر الغريب» بجدارة كما لاحظتُ عندما كنا في سنة الماجستير معاً في منتصف الثمانينات.
انقطعَتْ أخبارُه بعدها، وعرفتُ أنه يسافر من بلدٍ إلى بلد، يعيش وحيداً متنقّلاً بين المقاهي والطرقات والفنادق وقارعات الطرق. يضع مجاناً بين الحين والآخر برمجيات ترفيهيةً صغيرةً على الإنترنت لتكونَ بمتناول الجميع، أو أخرى مهنيّةً يبيعها فتسمح له بحياة بوهيمية حرّة يطوف بها العالم، ترافقه حقيبةٌ شخصية وكمبيوترٌ محمول فقط!
نسيته، قبل أن أجد، في صباح يومٍ من صيف 2027 أُعلِنتْ بعده حالة طوارئٍ استثنائية في عموم الأرض تقريباً، ماكينتوشاً في زبالة. لم أعرف بفضله فقط حقيقة يوميات نادر، بل أسرار حياتي المطمورة أنا نفسي، وما هو أهمّ من حياته وحياتي بكثير.
