رواية سيد مسافر للاخصائى النفسى، القاص والروائى محمد صلاح زكريا والحائز على جائزة المجلس الأعلى للثقافة عن مجموعته القصصية ” بسمة على شفاه الموت ” وكذلك فوزه عن روايته سيد مسافر فى مسابقة الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة، فسيد ليس بسيد لشيء للأسف. سكنه القلق منذ البداية واستمر بداخله هاجس الرحيل، وشكل نفسه أمام عينيه على انه الحلم والخلاص، هناك فى البلاد البعيدة حيث يضطرم باطن الأرض بالنفط، وتنعكس الشمس على الرمال الملتهبة، سيجد المال والمكانة والقدرة، لذا فكل شيء يهون حتى يتحقق له ذلك، ومن يسكنه النزوع الى السفر ويصهره ويمنحه سمته واسمه، فهو سيد مسافر، اما صوت الراوى صديق سيد فيمثل المرآه التى تعكس صورة الصديق، صحيحة لكنها غير مطابقة تماما، وعبر هذا التوتر الدرامى تبزغ متعة السرد، وتصبح الرحلة فى تلافيفها وسيلة وغاية، ومما قرأت من الرواية ” أى سفر أشد وطأة ! سفرى هذا أم عودتى لأصبح مسافرا جديدا .. أحمل الغربة بين خطاى كمن يحمل عطرا خلابا لا يتحمل رائحته، يراه الجميع وطنا وأراه أنا العذاب!.. أى غربة تستحق كل هذا الألم.
