يضع المؤلف هذا الكتاب "النحو الشافي الشامل " بين أيدي الطلاب خصوصاً وطلبة العربية الذين ينشدون النحو يسيراً سهلاً واضحاً شافياً مبنياً على كتابه السابق "النحو الشافي" بعد أن زادت فيه فصولاً وقضايا كثيرة حتى يصبح شافياً وشاملاً في الآن نفسه.
ولقد عرض قضايا النحو عرضاً فيه يسر وسهولة بلغة واضحة حديثة معاصرة قريبة إلى قلب الطالب محاولاً أن أمثل على كل قضية أو حكم بمثل واضح أو مثلين، مع إعراب أحدهما أو كليهما إعراباً يجعل الأمر واضحاً مفهوماً، ثم أختتم كل موضوع بشواهد تفصيلية على كل قضية من قضايا الموضوع معيناً الطالب على معرفة مواضع الشواهد بكتابتها بالخط الأسود حتى لا يعني الطالب نفسه في البحث عنها.
ولقد جمع للدراس أكبر قدر ممكن من شواهد القرآن الكريم الأبلغ والأفصح، ومن شواهد الشعر على مر العصور، وكانت هذه الأمثلة لأفضل الشعراء المعاصرين مثل أحمد شوقي وحافظ إبراهيم والبارودي.
ولقد جاء هذا الكتاب في أحد عشر فصلاً: الأول: الكلام وما يتألف منه. الثاني: الإعراب والبناء. الثالث: النكرة والمعرفة. الرابع: المرفوعات. الخامس: المنصوبات. السادس: المجرورات. السابع: التوابع. الثامن: الأسماء المعاملة عمل الفعل. التاسع: الأساليب. العاشر: الممنوع من الصرف والعدد. الحادي عشر: الجملة وشبه الجملة.
