كثيرا ما يكون الواقع أغبر من الخيال .. وأبطال قصتنا من نبت أرض الوطن قد يكونون مجهولين بالنسبة لكثير منا .. لكن معانى البطولة خلدت أسماءهم وسجلتها بحروف من نور فى صفحات تاريخ هذا الوطن . فقد بدأت الحداث بالوالد وهو بريبة مساعد أول ، نال شرف الشهادة فى حرب 1948م وترك زوجته التى ترملت ووهبت حياتها لرعاية ولدين وطفلة عمرها عامان ، وكانت حاملا فى ولد ثالث . وكانت الشهادة ايضا من نصيب شقيق الأب والابن الاكبر فى حرب 1956م ثم سقط ابنه الثانى اسيرا فى قبضة القوات الاسرائيلية فى حرب 1967م واشترك الابن الثالث الذى تركه والده جنينا فى بطن أمه فى حرب 1973م واستطاع بمفرده قتل احد عشر جنديا إسرائيليا بمدفعه الرشاش انتقاما للدم الغالى واستردادا لشرف الوطن .. وعندما عاد شقيقة الاسير احتفلت الاسرة بزفاف الابنه التى كبرت وصارت عروسا جميلة وهى التى لم تر والدها الشهيد البطل. الآحداث مليئة بالام وأحلام .. وطموحات ومشاعر مسكونة داخل ابناء هذا الوطن .. صناع حضارته وحماة ترابه .
