السنة 1979 ميلادية : غيوم الفوضى التي تلبد سماء تركيا. تمطر البلاء بدلا من الرحمة. والطلاب دفعوا إلى قلب هذا البلاء الذي عم القطاعات كافة من قريب أو بعيد. كثيرون خاضوا الأحداث، فانقلبوا أعداء لأصدقائهم، واندفعوا في هياج إلى مصير مجهول، لا يفكرون فيما يعملون.. أس انقضى ومضى، واليوم فقاعة بلاء، والغد مجهول صباح العاشر من نوفمبر (تشرين الأول): محمد فؤاد اختلى بنفسه، متنفسا الهواء النقي أثناء المسير في شوارع الجامعة. لقد ترك صالة الشاي في مسكن الطلبة – القسم الثاني، ليتخلص من الصخب والتلوث والسطحية .. تخلصه من دخان السجائر وتنفس الهواء النقي يعد مكسبا. توجه نحو كلية إدارة الأعمال منعطفا من مستشفى الأبحاث، فمر بجانب كليتي الطب والزراعة إلى موقع الباص في مواجهة مبنى الرئاسة، بقصد النزول إلى المدينة.
