لكأن العبقرية الإبداعية الاستثنائية لهذا الفنان العالمي سيلفادور دالي، لم تكتف بما شكلت من العالم المعذب ذي القوانين والميثولوجيات والأوهام والتحولات الخاصة، فإذا بالفنان يصير كاتبا، وأي كاتب ! تلك هي (سولانج دي كليدا) تسمق من هذه الرواية لتكون واحدة من أبرز الشخصيات الروائية التي خلدهن التاريخ. إنها المرأة التي يحترق أبيقور وأفلاطون في شعلتها من الغموض الأنثوي الأبدي. وكما صاغ سيلفادور دالي (الكليدالية) من هذه الشخصية، تعبيرا عن اللذة والألم، صاغ من الحب والموت عالما روائياً، كأنما يؤلف الأوبرا الذي خطط لتأليفها هو وفيديريكو غارسيا لوركا، لكن لوركا (طار)، وحمل دالي العهد حتى أوفاه برواية أوبرالية، يندمج فيها التشويش الأيديولوجي والأساطير والشهوات والسمو والوضاعة والوفاء. الموضوع الرئيسي لهذه الرواية هو (الموت في الحب). ودالي يقدم فيها معالجة عصرية لأسطورة تريستان وإيسولد الخالدة، حيث لا شيء يعطي حدة أكبر للحب من الموت الوشيك، ولا شيء يعطي حجة أكثر للموت من عبوديته التي لا علاج لها للحب. ولكن تمت في الرواية موازنة موضوع الموت بنقيضه: القيامة. فبعث حياة جديدة من التفسح والدمار يستمر طوال الرواية، ورمزه الروائي من البداية هو غابة البلوط التي تنعم كل ربيع ببراعم خضراء مصفرة.
