إن الهدف من هذا الكتاب هو وصف ظاهرة اخترت أن أطلق عليها اسم ((الصهيونية غير اليهودية)). ولا بد في كتاب صغير بهذا الحجم يتناول موضوعا شائكا أن يكون هناك حذف وتبسيط كثير سيتنبه له المؤرخون المحترفون. ولذا فإنني أتقبل شاكرة انتقاداتهم التي أستحقها بلا ريب، ولكن هدفي الأساسي هو تقديم عرض عام لظاهرة الصهيونية غير اليهودية لأثير اهتمام القارئ العادي ووعيه بعلاقة هذه الظاهرة بالمشكلة الفلسطينية في أيامنا هذه. وإنني على يقين من أنني أتناول هاهنا موضوعا مثيرا للجدل لم توضع له خاتمة بعد. ولكنني حاولت أن أكون موضوعية قدر المستطاع في إطار خلفيتي واقتناعي الشخصي.
